Insight

What an archive shows once it has been read.

Importance. Every tag weighed by field: circle area is how much it matters in that field, colour is a cluster of tags written together, a dashed ring is a bridge between fields. Beside it, one tag scored across every field it appears in.

Who it is for

Not everyone. On purpose.

Most people do not need this, and running it for them would be a waste of a machine. Lovault is built for the person who generates more ideas than they can hold, and has never had a workspace the size of their head.

  • Researchers — a professor or a graduate student carrying years of reading, notes and recordings that no folder structure has ever made searchable.
  • Builders and innovators — people whose output is ideas turned into things, who keep hitting the wall between describing and making.
  • Artists, writers and musicians — a person who draws, a person who sings, anyone whose raw material is a pile of fragments waiting to be connected.
  • Anyone with an archive — a decade of footage, a phone full of voice notes, twenty years of photographs, and no way in.

We do not hold your data

Lovault runs as a server on your own computer. Documents, recordings, transcripts and the whole archive are files on your disk, in ordinary formats, in folders you can open without us. The app has no account with us, and nothing to export, because nothing ever left.

We do not hold your AI either

You bring your own provider key and the requests go from your machine to them. We are not in the middle of that conversation, we cannot read it, and we do not resell it to you at a markup. A local model instead of a hosted one is a setting, not a different product.
